No ice beam with all the dragons? There are a couple Pokemon on this list that I regret not using in my initial run, Heracross and Tyranitar. Mind you, Machamp was definitely useful, but I could've used a better dark Pokemon than trying to rely on Umbreon. Girafarig is okay, but Alakazam is still broken, even without ice punch and fire punch. Lantern is good coverage, but Starmie does it's job better; surf, psychic, thunderbolt, and ice beam feels like cheating. I can't do any Johto playthrough without Ampharos. Sure, it's slow, but it hits and electric is good against all the water types. I had trouble with having a decent flier. The best I could do for a while was Skarmory which was far bulkier than I thought and got me through some jams. At the end, I settled for Dragonite.

Personally incineroar, fluttermaine, amoongus, gastrodon are all insane. Fire cat and sus shroom are some of the best support mons ever. And with certain set up moves can be a threat in their own right. Flutter is turbo fast with absolutely bonkers spec attack output. Just having Protosynthesis is enough to wipe most middling mons and if you calm mind or nasty plot you can wipe just about everything. Slug is hard to hit with good defenses and you can raise its evasion so you just don’t hit it, then it surfs or earthquakes.

I have to disagree with the starter choice, Greninja may be helpful, but not as helpful as Delphox. Delphox helps with violas vivillon, Korrina and Ramos's ENTIRES TEAMS, Clemonts magneton and heliolisk because of dry skin, Valerie's mawile, Olympias team with shadow ball and Wulfrics team. it helps with wikstrom. It helps with Dianthas Hawlucha, gourgeist but be carful and mega gardevoir. it helps with team flares poison types. it helps with the rivals meowstic with shadow ball. and overall as great stats. My team was: Delphox Florges Gogoat / Venusaur Aegislash / Lucario / Hawlucha Crobat / Salamence Lapras I understand why people chose charizard because of mega evolution, I just think the mega chars are overrated and that venusaur, lucario, or salamence make better megas.

for who are preparing to fight champion or Steven: always look for the legendary pokemon cuz they super powerful it will be fine if u dont get, u need focus on swampertand leveling him up the most , to beat steven atleast u need full team of 60 lvl pokemons also swampert rayqauaza groudon or kyogru can beat steven but u need some good amount of items like hyper potion and revive dont matter if its full or normal one and thats it

Nah XY anime was written terribly and can barely be considered a pokemon series, it's genuinely disrespectful. If Ash won, that might have been the final nail in the coffin. Meanwhile BW was overall the perfect continuation that took the story into consideration and followed through very well, despite its mishandling of TR for most of BW.

Blastoise works better than Starmie because you can get a Squirtle way earlier in the game.

I think teaching shadowball to Exploud is the better option. As a normal type it's immune to ghost and ghost types are weak to ghost moves. ... Also I think Breloom is the better choice for a fighting type as it's stronger and faster and has more coverage with grass typing. I would also pick up a Ralts early rather then that ghost mon, while it is weak to bug, ghost and dark - it's strong against fighting and poison so adds a bit of coverage should crobat and swampert not be enough. Puls it has much better stats and looks amazing.

Shoutout to Mega Blaziken too, he can solo the majority of the late game fights

Another day of asking you to make a best team for all of the gen 9 starters in Scarlet and Violet while trying not to use repeats as much as possible. I know you said you made the final best team video for S&V but I think they deserve it, it's easy to breed then for a new game and with the Teal Mask on top of the base game there are a lot of good options for teams.
